Studying¶
Osmosis offers three ways to study your flashcards — and every card type works in all three. Each mode uses the FSRS algorithm to schedule reviews based on your performance, so a card rated anywhere updates its schedule everywhere.

Starting a Session¶
- Sequential — open the dashboard and click a deck, or run Study all decks
- Contextual — open a note with cards and click Study this note in its header
- Spatial — open a mind map and click Study mode in its header, or right-click a node and choose Study this branch
Both in-place modes have a no-stakes twin: Peek hides every card and records nothing, wherever you are.
