Quick Start¶
Fetch Your First Word¶
- Click the icon in the left ribbon
- A notification confirms the word was saved
- Find the new note in your destination folder (default:
WOTD/)
That's it. The note includes the word's pronunciation, part of speech, definition, usage examples, and etymology.
Open the Note Directly¶
Use the command palette (Ctrl+P) and run Open today's WOTD note. This fetches the word (if needed) and opens it in a new pane.
Insert a Link¶
While editing any note, run Insert link to today's WOTD at cursor from the command palette. A [[link]] to today's word is inserted at your cursor position.
